Nashville, Here we come!!!

Well, it's 11:30 p.m., and of course I can't fall asleep. I always have a hard time sleeping the night before we travel. You know that feeling of, "oh my goodness, I have to go to sleep, we have to get up in 6 hours"....and it slowly dwindles down to 5, 4, 3 etc. as you lay there watching the clock!
Hopefully, I have remembered everything. I guess as long as I have the epi-pens, oral steroids, benadryl, inhalors, diapers, wipes, and some food for Palmer (that he's not allergic to) then we can always get anything else I have may have forgotten once we get there.
We are headed down to Nashvegas for Mere's (Randy's sister) baby shower. She is due the beginning of July, and expecting a baby boy! Once the shower is over, I plan on hitting all my favorite little stores -- you know...where they sell cute things that we can't get in Michigan :) Hopefully, it will be a restful and relaxing week!
Happy almost June to everyone!

KINDERGARDEN GRADUATION

Well, today my sweet little boy "graduated" from Kindergarden!!! All of the kids came walking in to the song Pomp and Circumstance, in full cap and gown attire, might I add! I somehow managed to choke back the tears, but poor Peej (my mom) shed a few for both of us. The program was so sweet, and it definately made you realize that it won't be long before we are sitting at their high school graduation!
I realize that the next 12 years will fly by, but I plan to fully embrace and enjoy each and every moment!!!! There are a few things I hope Palmer will know for certain 12 years from tonight, when it's the "real deal"....
1. First and most importantly, I hope he knows about his Savior, but above all I hope he KNOWS his Savior (my dad always use to tell us that he thinks it is great to memorize scripture, but he would rather us live scripture than just merely memorize it).
2. I hope he has the courage to make decisions based on 2 questions #1) Where does he want to be in 100 years, and #2) Who would he like to be there with him?
3. I hope he knows that HE HAS BEEN LOVED LIKE CRAZY (and always will be)
Palmer....you have such a sensitive little heart, you love to play, and you play hard, you make the best of every situation, you have a contagious laugh, and like Coach says, your smile can light up a room! We are truly blessed to be your parents, and you truly are a source of joy my sweet little boy! Happy Kindergarden Graduation!
